Jenna -N- Ricardo met while attending the University of Texas. Ricardo graduated and moved to NYC to work in finance, Jenna stuck around to wrap up her degree and one year later followed. They recently relocated to Jersey City where they're happy and have a bigger space. Their wedding will be held next year at the Hummingbird House and they plan to resume their residence in the tri-state area, at least for a little while. I'm jealous. Thanks for having me along for the ride guys. I look forward to next year!

Anna and Rohan met in the office (they're both in accounting). Â At first, she ignored his advances, but finally gave in and went out with him. Â And a good thing she did. Â Rohan, I have never met ayone who needs his joe as much as you do. Thank god for Starbucks! Â He even had a Starbucks logo-shaped grooms cake made of, you guessed it, coffee cake. Far and away, THE best wedding cake I've had the pleasure of enjoying. Â More on that later.

She-N-He
Lauren and Matt met in a geology class at UT. It was my first time to shoot at UT, there are a million different shots to be had there. I love shooting engagement sessions. Couples who may have never been photographed before, are all of the sudden put together and asked to look lovingly at each other. With some couples, they have been together for years and the "honeymoon phase" is long since worn off. Ladies: you're not crazy, not everyone just shows up all lovey dovey, though some folks do. The #1 phrase I hear from every person I photograph at the beginning of our session is "what do I do with my arms?" Â By the end of our session you will be a bonafide fashion model ;) This is an opportunity to kick off your engagement, remember why you love each other. I one time had a bride say that her engagement session actually strengthened their bond.

Megan has been besties with one of our December brides since they were babies. She caught wind of

Kathleen and Nick met while work in a Mexican restaurant together in Austin, Tx. She continued with school when he left to go to West Point, then joined him in New York state. She now resides in Brooklyn, NY, while h continues his studies at West Point. They wanted to commemorate their stay in New York by photographing their engagement session in Brooklyn, NY. Kathleen did an amazing job drawing a map to all of the locations she liked but also left some room for chance. We only had the one day and it rained but it made for great photographs. We found a great coffee shop in Vinegar Hill that didn't want to let us shoot but we charmed them into a teeny session before their Sunday morning brunch. It was a welcome change of pace and really got my juices flowing!
